Believers Youth Hosted the Third Episcopa Futsal Match

The Believers Youth Council of Kathmandu District successfully hosted the Third Episcopa Futsal Match on December 30, 2025. Held at the Bhadrakali Futsal Ground in Budhanilkantha, the annual event brought together youth, clergy, and members of the Believers Eastern Church to celebrate unity and fellowship through sportsmanship.

The tournament was graced by His Eminence Titus Mor Osthathiose Archbishop and Rev. Fr. Kabiraj Maharjan, the Diocesan Vicar. The day began with a prayer of blessing by Rev. Fr. Maharjan, followed by a ceremonial kickoff by the church leaders. Sixteen teams from various local churches competed with high energy and a peaceful spirit.

St. Peter Believers Eastern Church, Manmaiju (Team A) emerged as the champions, securing a trophy and 30,000 rupees. St. Peter Believers Eastern Church, Jawalakhel, dominated the remaining podium spots, with their Team A taking second place (20,000 rupees) and Team B securing third (10,000 rupees). Individual excellence was also recognized, as Brother Sanil Rai was honored as the Best Player. The event concluded with a benediction, leaving the community inspired by a successful day of athletic competition and spiritual bonding.

Commissioning and Dedication of the 34th Batch of Evangelists Held in Kathmandu Archdiocese

With solemnity and sacred joy, the Believers Eastern Church Minor Seminary under the Archdiocese of Kathmandu, Nepal, hosted the Commissioning and Dedication Service for the 34^th batch of students. This service was held within the premises of St. James Believers Eastern Church, Duwakot, located in Changunarayan Municipality, Bhaktapur District, Bagmati Province.

Twenty-one devout students, drawn from diverse regions, cultures, and linguistic backgrounds across Nepal, faithfully completed one year of theological training at the seminary, followed by a year of practical ministry in the mission field. On the 20^th of November, 2025, these candidates were solemnly commissioned and dedicated as evangelists for the sacred ministry of the Holy Church, to the glory of God.

42 Faithful and Devout Deacons were Ordained into the Sacred Priesthood

By the mercy of God and in accordance with the sacred tradition, apostolic succession, and canonical order of the Holy Church, a solemn and grace-filled Priestly Ordination was celebrated on 13^th November 2025 at St. James Believers Eastern Church Duwakot, Bhaktapur District, Nepal.

On this holy day, 42 faithful and devout deacons were ordained into the sacred priesthood by the laying on of Archbishop’s hands in the presence of Triune God, gathered clergies and faithful. These ordinands represented five dioceses such as Kohalpur, Pokhara, Bhimnagar, Itahari, and Birtamod.

एसईई उत्तीर्ण विद्यार्थीहरुका लागि विशेष ‘तीन दिने सेमिनार’

१५ देखि १७ जुलाई २०२५ सम्म, बिलिभर्स इस्टर्न चर्च नेपाल, काठमाडौं आर्चडायोसिसअन्तर्गत्, काठमाडौं जिल्ला परिषद्ले एसईई (माध्यमिक शिक्षा परीक्षा) उत्तीर्ण विद्यार्थीहरुका लागि विशेष ‘तीन दिने सेमिनार’ आयोजना गर्‍यो। यस सेमिनारको उद्देश्य विद्यार्थीहरुलाई उनीहरुका विद्यार्थी जीवन, आत्मिक र चर्चको जीवनसँग सम्बन्धित उपयोगी शिक्षाहरु प्रदान गर्नु, र साथै उनीहरुलाई प्रेमको प्रतीकको रुपमा नगद पुरस्कारद्वारा सम्‍मान गर्नु थियो, यसैले कि उनीहरु आफ्नो भावी पढाइप्रति लगनशील व्यक्ति सकुन्।

बल्खुस्थित होप फर चिल्ड्रेन सेन्टरद्वारा नि:शुल्क चिकित्सा शिविर

बल्खुस्थित होप फर चिल्ड्रेन सेन्टरले हालै नेपालको काठमाडौँमा बागमती नदीको किनारमा अवस्थित बल्खु बस्तीका विपन्न बासिन्दाहरूको सेवा गर्न नि:शुल्क चिकित्सा शिविर आयोजना गरेको छ।

यस पहलको उद्देश्य आँखा, कान, नाक, घाँटी र दाँतको समस्याहरूको जाँच सहित आवश्यक स्वास्थ्य सेवाहरू प्रदान गर्नु थियो। रोगहरूको निदान गर्नुका साथै, शिविरले निवारक स्वास्थ्य सेवाको बारेमा जागरूकता बढाउने, थप उपचार आवश्यक पर्ने गम्भीर केसहरू पहिचान गर्ने र सरसफाइ र स्वस्थ जीवनशैली प्रवर्द्धन गर्ने प्रयास गरेको थियो। बीपी आइ फाउन्डेसन र चियर्स अस्पतालका सात डाक्टरहरूको टोलीले बस्ती समुदायका २०० सेवा नपाएका बालबालिका, युवा र वृद्धवृद्धाहरूलाई सेवा दिन आफ्नो समय र विशेषज्ञता स्वयंसेवा गरे। चिकित्सा पेशेवरहरूले दृष्टि परीक्षण, मोतियाबिन्दु पत्ता लगाउने, संक्रमण उपचार, श्रवण मूल्याङ्कन, घाँटी र साइनस संक्रमण निदान, गुहा पत्ता लगाउने, गिजा रोग उपचार, र मौखिक स्वच्छता शिक्षा सहित व्यापक स्क्रिनिङहरू गरे। राम्रो कल्याणको लागि ज्ञान भएका व्यक्तिहरूलाई सशक्त बनाउन पोषण र सरसफाइमा स्वास्थ्य परामर्श पनि प्रदान गरिएको थियो।

पवित्र अभिषेक संस्कार

बिलिभर्स इस्टर्न चर्च नेपालको पावन इतिहासमा दोस्रो पटक, सेप्टेम्बर २५, २०२५ मा भक्तपुर जिल्लाको दुवाकोटस्थित सेन्ट जेम्स बिलिभर्स इस्टर्न चर्च सेमिनरीमा ठुलो सम्मानका साथ एउटा पवित्र याजकीय अभिषेकको आराधना-सेवाको आयोजना गरियो। यस ऐतिहासिक अवसरमा, काठमाडौं आर्चडायोसिसका ३१ जना र भीमनगर डायोसिसका १४ जना गरी, ४६ जना डिकनहरुलाई याकत्वको पावन ओहदामा अभिषिक्त गरिएको थियो।

यी डिकनहरु आआफ्‍ना सेवाका स्थानहरुबाट सेप्टेम्बर २१ मा यात्रा सुरु गरेर सेमिनरीमा आइपुगे र चार दिने प्रार्थनामय, पूर्वाभ्यास, मनन र लिटर्जीय तयारीमा व्यस्त भइरहे। यसैबिच, डिकनहरु र विश्वासयोग्य जनहरुका निम्‍ति क्रिस्मेसन र पाप-स्वीकारका संस्कारहरुका आयोजना गरिएको थियो। सेप्टेम्बर २२ मा, क्रिस्मेसनको संस्कार आयोजना गरियो, जसमा डिकनहरु, सेमिनरीका विद्यार्थीहरु र विश्वासयोग्य जनहरुलाई क्रिस्मेसन प्रदान गरिएको थियो। सेप्टेम्बर २३ र २४ मा, सबै दीक्षार्थी याजकहरु पश्चात्तापी हृदयका साथमा पाप-स्वीकारको संस्कारमा प्रवेश गरे। उनीहरुले पवित्र अभिषेकको तयारीको निम्‍ति विश्‍वासयोग्यतापूर्वक आआफ्‍ना पापहरु स्वीकार गरे।

भोलिपल्ट, सेप्टेम्बर २५, २०२५ मा, बिलिभर्स इस्टर्न चर्चको गायनझुन्डद्वारा पावन भजन गान सुरु गरेसँगै डिकनहरुका भव्य शोभायात्राबाट आराधना-सेवा सुरु भयो। यस पावन शुभअवसरमा महामहिम आर्चबिसप टाइटस मोर ओस्थाथिओस एपिस्कोपाले डिकनहरुमाथि हातहरु राख्नुभयो र प्रार्थनाका माध्यमद्वारा उनीहरुलाई पावन याजकीय सेवामा अभिषेक गर्नुभयो।
क्लर्जीहरु, सेमिनरीका विद्यार्थीहरु, डायोसिसका कर्मचारीहरु, र दीक्षार्थी याजकहरुका पत्नीहरुसहित २५० भन्दा बढी उपस्थित सहभागीहरुले आराधना-सेवाभरि परमेश्वरको ईश्‍वरीय उपस्थितिको साक्षी भइरहे। नवनियुक्त याजकहरुले आफ्नो बोलावटमा रमाउँदै चर्च र सेवाको काममा विश्वासीहरुका नेतृत्व र हेरचाह गर्ने एउटा नयाँ अध्यायको सुरुवात गर्दा, उक्त अवसरको वातावरण नै आनन्द र कृतज्ञताले भरिपूर्ण बनेको थियो।
